Summer climb rates

Now that the warm weather is here, it's getting harder to climb the departures. For those arrival controllers that have never worked the departure wall, you would be amazed at how much easier it is to get the departures up and out when you take your arrivals off the STAR and give us a few extra miles to climb. It was the first and most useful thing I learned when I moved to the departure wall. I'm not saying to work harder, but if you have a spot where you can, it really helps.

It's your airspace, we'd just like to borrow it for the summer. Or, until RNAV saves us all.
