Are you saying that the Area 1 controllers should be thanking the Area 2 controllers for the upgrade? Just wondering.

I have no idea what Area 1 and Area 2 are? That must be some office lingo....... you know, like sitting at a desk thumbing through the official titles for areas and other such paperwork while real controllers are pumping heavy metal?

I was talking about real air traffic stuff. Arrivals and Departures. And it was all in jest, of course. I like to stay on top of the smack talking and good natured fun. It's kinda what I do.

And for the record. If I was able to have chosen at the time, I would have selected the "Do little"..... I mean "feeder"...... I mean Arrival Wall. But, once again, a higher power chose for me and I'm all too happy on the Departure Wall. The thought of sitting for 2 hours on PUB or JNC makes me throw up just a little in my mouth.

I predict that this specialization thing will pass as well, just like the last time. As soon as we are done trying to "reduce training times" and showing others "how fast I can make CPCs", we can get back to the business of providing safe air traffic services.
